What are my responsibilities?

• Timely release of Purchase Orders to Vendors
  
• Assurance of on time deliveries of ordered goods / services to vendors through good follow ups
  
• Alignment of raw material deliveries with production plan.
  
• Handling of goods supplied to vendors against sub-contracting purchase orders
  
• Maintain delivery reliability of suppliers.
  
• Ordering of factory maintenance goods and services.
  
• Periodic reporting of purchase parameters and supplier’s performance.
  
• Analysis of supplier’s performance before identifying supply chain and logistics gaps and take necessary actions.
  
• Continuous alignment of MRP parameters to manage minimum required inventory.
  
• Strong coordination cross-functional coordination with Production Planning, Order Management, Warehouse and Imports colleagues
  

What do i need to know?

• Engineering (BE) or Business (MBA) graduate from a well reputed institution.
  
• 2 -5 years working experience in the field of manufacturing or supply chain management
  
• Proficient with MS office suit (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  
• Preferably, hands on experience of ERP- SAP in material management module.
  
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
